What should I write in the video description?
What you sell, to whom, what makes you better, prices and deals, and what the viewer should do: call, visit or message you on WhatsApp. For example: “A neighborhood coffee shop. Morning coffee to go, 10% off cappuccino before 10 am. See you at Abay 10.” If you have no time to type, press “Dictate” and speak.
Which materials should I upload?
A link to your website and Instagram: Volar takes colors, fonts, photos and the texts of posts and reels from there. Documents: a price list, a menu or a presentation, from which we take services and prices. A logo file, preferably SVG or PNG without a background. Product photos. Your own font, if you have one. Files are uploaded after you sign in, while you set the video up.
What are the setup steps in Volar?
After the description, Volar walks you through the steps: sizes (you can pick several at once), voice-over and music (you can listen to the options), fonts and a style based on examples you like, materials (logo, photos, brand name, website) and the call to action at the end of the video. If you would rather not choose, leave “AI decides” and Volar decides for you. You can change everything before creating the video and later, in revisions.
How do I add references?
While you set the video up, on the style step, add references: up to 3 files (videos, presentations, images) and links to videos you like, up to 2 from YouTube and up to 2 from Instagram. Volar downloads the linked videos and studies the pace, colors, fonts and text layout. Other brands’ logos and texts are not copied. For each reference you can choose: make a video in a similar style, or redo your own old video.
How do I choose sizes?
On the sizes step, mark where you will show the video: you can pick several sizes at once (feed, square, Reels, website, street screen). For a street screen, enter the size, frame rate and length given by the operator. One video can have up to 5 sizes: the first at the price of the video, each next size 20% off.
What happens after I press “Create video”?
Volar studies your site and materials, writes the script and builds the video in every size you picked. You can follow the progress on the video page, and the finished video appears there, with a notification from us. A video is not made instantly: a video of up to 20 seconds takes about 40 minutes; a video of 21 to 40 seconds takes about an hour; a video of 41 to 60 seconds takes 1-2 hours.
How do I request edits to the finished video?
Pause the video at the right moment, drop a pin on the frame and write or dictate what to change: “make the logo bigger here”, “show the price full screen”. There is a note for the whole video too: “lower the music”. Notes go out as one list, which counts as one round. 3 rounds of edits are free. One round can have as many specific notes as you like. Each further round costs about 10% of the video price. Edits must be specific: you cannot remake the whole video or change the idea.
In what form do I get the video?
First you watch a draft: 720p, with a “draft” mark in the corner of the frame, which you can download and forward for approval. When your edits are done, you press “All done” and we build the final: an MP4 file for every size you picked, in full quality (1080p), without marks. For social networks with music and a voice-over if you want one, for street screens without sound.
How much does it cost in credits?
100 credits (about $23) for up to 20 seconds, 150 credits (about $34) for 21 to 40 seconds, 200 credits (about $45) for 41 to 60 seconds. These are prices for one size. Each extra size is 20% off: two sizes up to 20 seconds cost 100 + 80 = 180 credits. Voice-over and music are included in the price, and 3 rounds of edits are free. Credits are charged when you press “Create video”.
